DR GREG THEODOROU - CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Greg takes great pride and enjoys helping patients to have healthy and happy smiles.

He is continually advancing his skills with high levels of training to ensure he can offer his patients the best that modern dentistry has to offer.

Greg originally qualified in Pretoria, South Africa, gaining a BSc in Dental Sciences in 1993. Following on, in 1998 he gained a BChD dental degree and since then has attended numerous courses in the UK. He is also a member of the British Association of Private Dentistry, the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD), the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD), the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), the British Society of Periodontology (BSP), the British Endodontic Society (BES) and the Digital Dental Academy.

Areas of advanced study include cosmetic dentistry; dental implants; clear braces & aligners; sedation for nervous patients; hi-tech computer aided dentistry and CEREC restorations.

Working with nervous patients is a particular interest of his, including cosmetic dentistry to help create confident smiles.

At home, Greg is married and has three children who like keep him busy. So, his relaxation comes in the form of various sports activities, which include squash, keeping fit, kayaking and walking his dogs.

His work includes all complex dental implant treatments, All-on-4, Implant-supported dentures, complex restorative dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, veneers, crowns, bridgework, bone and soft tissue reconstruction & grafting, periodontal plastic surgery, occlusal rehabilitations and full mouth rehabilitations.

His goal is to be able to deliver pain-free dentistry, in a comfortable, warm and friendly environment and to build caring lifelong relationships and trust with patients.

MR SATHEESH PRABHU – ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON

(General Medical Council Number 6128387)

Satheesh graduated in both Medicine and Dental Surgery. After his Medical graduation, he worked in various surgical specialties including vascular surgery, orthopaedics & plastic surgery. He completed his specialist training in the North West Deanery. This involved training in various teaching and university hospitals. He has done two JCST (Joint Committee on Surgical Training, Advisory body to four royal colleges) & GMC approved interface fellowships. He completed his Trauma & Reconstructive Fellowship from Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham and did his advanced training in Head & Neck Cancer and Reconstruction from Central Manchester University Hospitals and Christie Hospital, Manchester.

Qualifications include:- MBChB University of Leeds 2005; MRCS Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh 2008; FDSRCS RCS Glasgow 2000 and FRCS(OMFS) RCS Edinburgh 2011

Additional training includes: - Interface Fellowship in Head & Neck Surgery SAC 2012

Mr Prabhu is able to see adults for the following conditions :-

Head and neck cancer; wisdom teeth; buried, impacted or decayed teeth; salivary gland disease; mouth, lip & facial lesions; facial pain and TMJ dysfunction; oral rehabilitation including dental implants; facial implants and Zygoma implants.

He is also able to see children for the following conditions:-

Wisdom teeth; buried, impacted and decayed teeth; teeth requiring exposure; tongue tie release; salivary gland disease; mouth, lip & facial lesions; facial trauma and head and neck cancer.

MR SARJOO MISTRY - SPECIALIST IN ENDODONTICS

Sarjoo completed his 5 year training in Dentistry at King’s College London in 2006. He then went to Norwich to undertake his vocational training year where he learnt the duties and responsibilities of patient care in the dental field. Following this, he worked for 4 years as an associate dentist in practices in Norfolk and Surrey where he gained vast experience in general dentistry.

After a few years, Sarjoo realised that his main interest and enjoyment came from providing root canal treatment procedures to his patients. For this reason, he made the decision to focus his attention on endodontics and expand his skills and understanding in this field. In 2011, Sarjoo was accepted onto the 4 year speciality training course in Endodontics at the well-renowned Eastman Dental Institute (UCL). During his training, he was awarded MClinDent and MRD qualifications, which allowed him to enter the Specialist list in Endodontics in 2015.

Since 2011, Sarjoo has worked exclusively in providing root canal treatment procedures in various dental practices around London and the South East of England. He has gained vast experience and is confident of managing any case that is referred to him.

Since 2015, Sarjoo has also devoted one day a week to supervising the Endodontic clinical training and examining of the Masters and Diploma post-graduate students at the Eastman Dental Institute, where he has been entrusted with the position of the Lead of the Endodontics Techniques Course.

Away from the dental chair, Sarjoo enjoys football, cricket and spending time with his young family.

BARRY GARDINER – SENIOR CERAMICIST

I started my apprenticeship many years ago in Harley Street. For twenty two years my partner and our team have been based in Hammersmith. A specialist in cosmetic dentistry, my passion is detail, listening to my patients and producing an end result that they are happy with.

EMMA - CLINICAL MANAGER

Emma is the Clinical Manager who deals with the running of the clinical aspects of the practice. She is a qualified dental nurse and her interests are working with nervous patients and making them feel relaxed and at ease.

She thinks it is great to see the change in patients once they have had a pain free experience and trust the team. Emma enjoys working at W Dental as she has been made to feel part of the team and the patients are so friendly.

In her spare time she likes keeping active and going to the gym.

AURA - HEAD DENTAL NURSE

Aura is the Head Dental Nurse at W Dental, with additional qualifications in sedation for nervous patients and dental implantology. She has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and assisting in creating perfect smiles which she has assisted Greg with for over 10 years.

Aura says that it’s been amazing to witness the life transforming results that have been achieved for patients over the years.

In her spare time she loves spending quality time with her husband and two kids, as well as walking her dog.

AMANDA - ORTHODONTIC THERAPIST & HYGIENIST

Amanda is a bubbly outgoing orthodontic therapist and hygienist who aims to deliver gentle treatment with excellent results.

Amanda graduated with Distinction from The Eastman University College Of London and was awarded the Colgate Award for Excellence.

She has also recently qualified as an Orthodontic therapist from Warwick university and is also now involved in the student therapy teaching programme, teaching clinical skills and biological theory to dental students.

Embracing a holistic approach offering yoga relaxation techniques and dental acupuncture for nervous patients she aims to make your visit equal to a spa treatment.

In free time she enjoys running, yoga and salsa dancing.

LEANNE - HYGIENIST

Leanne qualified from Leeds Dental Institute in 2002, with the Clinical Excellence Award and has been a dental hygienist for over 12 years. She is very friendly and will always strive to help the most nervous of patients.

Leanne loves spending her spare time with her friends and family, as well as walking her dog and cuddling her pet rabbit. Leanne also loves exploring the globe and traveling to new places – having spent eight months in Australia and New Zealand in 2005 and more recently traveling around South East Asia.

APRIL - DENTAL NURSE

April is our newly qualified dental nurse.

She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but mostly enjoys nursing for cosmetic bonding and seeing the patients leave happy with their new smile.

In her spare time, she loves spending quality time with her two children and trips down to Devon to see family. Her hobbies include running and going to the gym in her free time.

SHARON - RECEPTIONIST

Sharon joined the W Dental team in 2020 as our part time Receptionist, with over 20 years of experience.

She is always punctual, well presented, friendly and welcoming to the patients - hopefully putting those that are nervous at ease!

Outside of work Sharon enjoys time with her grandchildren and family, country walks with friends, socialising and exercising.

GEORGINA - RECEPTIONIST

Georgina works as one of our part time Receptionists and strives to create a welcoming atmosphere for all our customers.

Previous to working at W Dental she was in the Recruitment industry for 5 years.

Georgina loves spending time with her family and friends in her spare time. Her favourite things to do are going for long walks, having a nice latte, and cooking.

RACHAEL - PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Rachael has been working ‘behind the scenes’ at W Dental since 2014 and deals with any back office queries for Greg.

She has over 20 years PA experience, so is highly organised and has the ability to multi-task well. She is always cheerful with the patients and staff.

Outside of W Dental, Rachael enjoys travelling and cruising to different countries around the world, socialising with family and friends and is generally busy with day-to-day life looking after her son.
